I shared something profound about what walking with God looks like, and I was deeply convicted again after my first LIVE cooking session with Buh-bye Stock cubes.

That every instruction God gives us is PREGNANT!!!
And that pregnancy is all encompassing.
Yes, there are rewards, but also the work, the impact on yourself, the joy, everything!
You think you are obeying one instruction, but right in the belly of that one thing, as you step out ON FAITH to get it going, you see it dropping babies right before you.
One of the BEST things for me about following God is the adventure it comes with. And it is not all smiles and roses; there will be tears, stretches, deaths and more, but like we see of Jesus and Apostle Paul…
Jesus, for the joy [of obtaining the prize] that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising and ignoring the shame, and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
Heb 12:2b
The MSG calls it an exhilarating finish.
What does the dictionary define exhilarating as?
Strong feelings of excitement and joy. Thrilling!
When a movie is a thriller, we enjoy it.
The Bible tells us that if we just walk with JESUS – Tears, wins, fails, joys and all – our very lives will be Thriller movies too.
I love it!
I mean Jesus had some good times and some ‘bad’ times, but everything culminated in a Thriller!
Apostle Paul agrees when He says that even though there are troubles (which he calls small potatoes), and joys, there are good times and lavish celebrations ahead. (see 2nd Corinthians 4 v 17)
It’s the terminologies for me.
I like my Christian experience (which includes the normal things like weight loss, eating healthy, being a parent, cooking, hanging out with friends, you know, the normal life) to be associated with such terms as exhilarating, thrilling, lavish celebration, good times, etx.
But we never know until we get on set, in character and actually start to act.
What this looks like may be you saying YES to starting to lose weight (and no, it doesn’t have to be a new year until you start), break up/start that friendship/relationship, join a unit and serve in church, shut up and apologize, quit/start that job, host that webinar, start that YouTube channel/blog, etx.
I don’t know what it is, but I wanna beg you, to PLEASE SAY YES and get skin in da game.
It’s pregnant and even though we don’t get a gender reveal party before delivery, heck, we don’t even FEEL pregnant, God who planted the seed and is watching it, will midwife you until the deliveries happen.
So please, sis, say YES!
A whole adventure awaits!
And speaking of adventure, I know something that can add even more and more thrill to your already adventurous life.
