EZIAHA

Hey FaithFam, welcome to the blog. It’s a throwback blog and we’re going all the way back to 2015. It’s still such a relevant message for today so let’s get into it.

Hallos people

And happy Sunday 🙂
Actually I’m typing this on Saturday but I’ll schedule for Sunday.
Something about Sunday makes us a lil more ‘christian’ looool. So the post will ‘enter’
Ok let’s roll.

Was chatting with a FAB sis of mine, Tolu when she said something like
‘I trust Eziaha, I’m sure she doesn’t joke with her confessions…’
And I responded
‘My dear, until that which my eyes have seen, my hands are holding, I won’t stop confessing’
And I realised this could well be a post cos that message must be preached ooo.

Btw how was ur Val’s day? Mine was filled with ‘Miracle Worker’ by Glowreeyah ft Nathaniel Bassey. My goodness, please download that song. Tz incredibz mehn!!! I have had it on repeat all day and made sure to transfer to all my 4 devices so that no matter what, I can get to play it in the labour room. Infact I listened and sang along as I took my daily walk and didn’t know when I waka-d for over an hour. Na so spirit catch me.

Good music is LIFE

Good music is LIFE

I was walking, singing, worshipping, raising hands to heaven, etc. As I type, I’m still listening to it.
Just fell in love with my Jesus all over again with that song this Val’s day. The song even made me forget about the yamarita and turkey I had planned to eat lol. Oya google and download. Tz a simple easy-to-sing yet so powerful.

Still beefing INEC btw.image

I mean the 14th was a Saturday and a PERFECT day to get married and they put elections only to postpone it a week to the date when couples can’t even start re-planning and all. Actually thought I’ll see some ‘HMLs’ today but I didn’t.
Does anyone know any couple who managed to get hitched today despite short notice?
In better news, Two of my correct friends got engaged today.

Ok back to why we are here…
Friday into Saturday, I had a real terrible night. You see, there was neither light, gen or inverter and the night was HOT. My rechargeable fan died at 1am and I got up soaked. Took a shower and was just generally awake. Trust the devil to start putting all sorts of thoughts in your head. I began to really loath not being in Abuja but Lagos and God just reminded me of how well I had been enjoying Lagos ooo that I almost lost track of the fact that this gidi is a temp something ooo and I should be grateful for the short opp.

So, basically I’ve had it more good than not-so-good here (and that’s just cos of light which just started) but in the middle of it all, Genesis 11:31ff dropped in my spirit.

31 And Terah took his son Abram and his grandson Lot, the son of Haran, and his daughter-in-law Sarai, his son Abram’s wife, and they went out with them from Ur of the Chaldeans to go to the land of Canaan; and they came to Haran and dwelt there. 32 So the days of Terah were two hundred and five years, and Terah died in Haran.

Hmmmmmm
So Bro Terah takes his entire family and tells them ‘we going to Canaan’ only to get to Haran, dwell there and then die there…
I dunno why Terah stopped at Haran but I certainly know what was NOT where he was going to. Haran was NOT the promised land. Canaan was. Yet Haran’s ‘stop-over’ became an end for him.

Bless God for Father Abraham…

Gen 12
1 Now the Lord had said to Abram: “Get out of your country, From your family And from your father’s house, To a land that I will show you. 4 So Abram departed as the Lord had spoken to him…

Haran for me just represents giving up before you get that desired testimony maybe cos of convenience or challenges.

There was a SHORT period I recall getting so comfy in Lagos that I ALMOST lost track of the fact that I am supposed to be actively in NOW faith for OUR Abuja move. In my mind, I just felt abeg that prayer can ‘chill small’ lemme enjoy gidi wella all over again- great friends, great places to visit, family, amazing church, sound Word, and stuffs.
Ah!!! The complacency of Haran. But it was very short lived thankfully.
I quickly advised myself biko and got back into very actively believing for that miracle move for hubs to Abuja and our 8JN house I blogged about here https://eziaha.com/2014/09/10/how-to-believe-god-for-a-house/ (Yup I’m still believing and will testify here) while thanking God for the opportunity to give birth here where I have a solid support system.

You see sweetie, what has God told you? What have you seen in the spirit? What are you believing for? What scriptures are you standing on???
Keep confessing it hun. Until that which your spiritual eyes have seen, your physical hands are holding, don’t stop!!! Yes open your own mouth and CONFESS!!!

Refuse to settle in/for ‘Haran’. ‘Canaan’ is a far better place hun so keep it moving.
My confessions ehn, I don’t joke ooo. I encourage you to not joke too. This devil is a bastard.

And don’t worry about the physical things around us that point to the contrary.image

Be like our papa Abraham

Romans 4
18 Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, “So shall your offspring be.”19 Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead—since he was about a hundred years old—and that Sarah’s womb was also dead. 20 Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, 21 being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised.image

Against all HOPE, Abby BELIEVED!!! God is faithful hun. Oh-so-faithful. Go into this week knowing that He is and if He has promised, He is able. Just stay in faith sprinkled with a large dose of patience and show your faith by speaking

2Cor 4
13 It is written: “I believed; therefore I have spoken.” Since we have that same spirit of faith, we also believe and therefore speak…

Keep speaking boo. Until that which your spiritual eyes have seen, your physical hands are holding…image

See you in Canaan, whatever ‘Canaan’ represents to you.

Sooooo much loveimage

PS

So that my friend I blogged about here, we lost him. https://eziaha.com/2015/01/30/needs-seeds-you-and-i/
He was my classmate. President of my department while I was Social director.
Kai it hit me bad. I almost still don’t believe it. Hadn’t seen him since we graduated and he was still hailing me at our convocation which I didn’t make. image

Shame!!! Shame on death!!!
From the moment we realised how bad it was, about 2weeks or so before he passed, we rallied round to see what we could do financially and we kept praying.
We lost him last Saturday 7th at about 6pm ish. He was buried Wednesday 11th of February. Dude was to plan a reunion for our set too.
Idowu, I believe you are getting the rest that has eluded you all the while you battled to beat this stupid Hepatitis B.
Thanks to everyone who gave from my blog. Thanks so much. Ironically it was just friday I hollered at everyone to be sure they didn’t forget and they all said they had given only for him to pass the next day. I recall he was grateful for all the financial assistance only he gave me updates on his health and tests and stuff. Sadly, he passed.

RIP Ademola Idowu Anifowose.

  1. Hah, I nor finish the post first, just wan drop comment to make ya jealous.
I was at pastor Nat’s album launch when he sang miracle worker live. I for share the video but I cant.
    Lol.

But seriously, we(i and my friends) who went for conference at my church, left Lagos frantically looking for the song till I searched and sent it to everyone.
Even sent to Ayo cuz I know she loves Nat’s songs.
    Powerful song, I tell ya.

Oya, let me go back to read.
    Was just being mischievous.
    Happy sunday 🙂

  2. I wrote this in church today as I heard it in my Spirit..
“Keep the fire of faith burning-no matter how long it takes from the time I said it till the time it physically manifest-keep the fire of faith burning. Keep the fire of faith burning…

I have been trusting God for some things that I thought will happen sharpaly based on dreams and all i’ve had.
Last week, I studied Abraham too.
Was going to write it as my blog Bible study for last week but didnt.

I remember you retweeted a tweet I posted too on testimonies..i was thinking of my own testimony when I wrote that.
I was led to James 1:2 when I tweeted that.

God has done it already in the Spirit but it might take a while for it to manifest physically.
While it’s been prepared though, our faith has to beon top shape/form.
    Why?
Because the ultimate reason for all this is to make our faith “perfect and complete” and that’s what happens in the period of waiting for physical manifestation.
A point we get to when we are no longer shaken if we don’t see the physical stuff immediately, our faith can no longer be shaken
This endurance is built in the period of waiting.

So we will keep the fire of faith burning!
Caanaan all the way by God’s grace 🙂
