Hey hey,
So welcome to this ONE blog I’ll be updating with 40 things I have never done as I mark my 40th year on earth this year.
By the way, bookmark this link, because this is where all the updates will live as we unveil each experience.
This year, I am intentionally saying YES to 40, mostly to experiences I have NEVER had before, and let’s see if we actually get to all 40
. Well, if I eat something i have never eaten, I’d add it too hehe. Just me saying YES to even more life in a most beautiful way that still honors God!
I’ll keep updating this blog as I walk through them.
Been a while since I UPDATED this blog, but things have been happening ooo

I’m just listing these experiences and actions I’m enjoying with no elaborate details. If you need more inspo from my life, here are a few ways to stay connected:
Instagram, LinkedIn, my Newsletter where I document my #JourneyToPhD, my mailing list where premium inside gist gets shared with my email family, and of course inside my coaching program if healthy living and weight loss is a goal, especially as I share details of what powers my journey.

This blog series is not a long one, so we’re not diving deep, just hitting the high notes.
Ok, let’s list a couple more things:
Number two. I tried rabbit meat for the first time.
I found a vendor in a church group I’m in, so I curiously side-chatted him. A kilo was about 6 or 7k, so I got two since it wasn’t priced out of range.
How did it taste? Pretty normal, I’d say. Nothing out of place, though different from anything I’d had before. I was low-key worried it would purge me
but it didn’t so win-win. I even shared it with my family and everyone’s taste buds and tummy took it well.
Still have quite a bit in my freezer and want to try it with pepper soup.
Number three. I’m doing a full-on photo shoot monthly (at least 12 this year).
Super excited for that.
The first was in January and here are a few images from it.

Will share more as my birthday approaches.
The second was in February and I absolutely loved the location and the videos we shot there too.

Really looking forward to moreeee because I love pictures hehe.
Number Four. I tried a gold short hair extension.
I’ve dyed my short hair gold before but not with an extension like this, so this was a new experience.
I love how it hit people, especially because I hardly add extensions. Absolutely loved the look.

Number Five. I’m shooting a documentary as I turn 40.
This one will have to be unpacked in layers.
We have a whole team and honestly, I didn’t realise how ambitious this project was, phew! But I’ve been so honoured and favoured. My mentors and professors have been incredibly gracious and generous with their words and time.
Fun fact: I’ve not permitted myself to watch each person’s video so I’ll be pleasantly surprised at the end when it all comes together. I’ve provided guidance, leadership and set the standards, but no watching yet hehe.
Loveeee it.
My Eziaha At 40 team are doing a phenomenal job! Thank you guys!

Number six. I paid a former staff full salary the month after she stopped working for me.
Generosity on another level, and I loved doing it.
That’s the kind of woman I want to grow into… one who is hilariously generous. So help me God. With plenty money!
Ok, that’s all for now. I’ll continue to update the list as they happen.
Gosh, I have such amazing things planned for this year 40. Join my mailing list so you stay updated. God has been so, so good and I bless His name, phew!

With so much excitement and gratitude,

Number one: I Had a GRAD PARTY!!!

I’ll share more details in my LinkedIn newsletter next week (and I’ll come back to update this post with the link), but let me just say this upfront: I am so glad I did it.

For my undergraduate degree, I wasn’t even present at my convocation. I was already pregnant at the time and living in Abuja. So yes oooo, this year, I went ALL OUT and hosted a party right after the official convocation ceremony.

Interestingly, I made the same distinction grade and graduated top of my class, just like I did in my undergrad days. God is faithful.

I even had:
- a proper custom invite,
- a thank-you card afterwards, and
- a gift list to make gifting me easy

What a time!

I’ll share a few pictures here, but feel free to enjoy the full gallery using this link:

Okay, see you when we unveil the next experience. I’ll simply place it above this one, so we’re counting down properly.
JOYfully,
Eziaha
