You are welcome to church…

Turn your bible with me to 2nd Chronicles 20 vs 21-23
No sweetie I mean this. I’ll wait while u turn… You need to see this for yourself…
Today, we are going to be sending praise ahead…
First let’s talk about yesterday’s blogpost…
When I started writing yesterday, twas frustrating walahi… Typing on a touch screen bb with long nails? Pure torture. After typing, it friggin’ DISAPEARED… I wanted to forget it and the HS said ‘baby u gotta get this message out’. I felt it strong in my heart that some people needed to be encouraged to hold on to His promises even as the year taxied away…
So I typed it all over again. Response was amazing ooo. I got messages on fb, bb and stuff saying it really spoke to them personally. Cool yeah? Ekene dili Chukwu… But mehn that message was for me ooo. Primarily. God needed me to write it and read and read and re-read it about 5times last night. He did all that to prepare my mind for the message PK was gonna preach today in church… Gosh, PK preached exactly my message… On my last blogpost. Only better… The word fell on fertile ground… My heart was tender enough to receive the word… God needed me to be on point for the Word He gave his servant for me… Incidentally this sunday morning, I was outta sorts… Menstrual pain just gets me… Aaaaaarrrrgggghhhh… I’m very irritable but I try to control it. Someone had even upset me this morning. But when the word began, nne it entered ooo.
Pk preached my talk with God yesterday. I cold have sworn he read my blog. But hey, they is a wiring in the Spirit. The same God over all…speaks to all. Lols.
He encouraged us all to hold on. Yes, the year was ending but hey God is NOT controlled by our calendar… The one who promised is faithful. The anchor scripture was Romans 4- the story of Abraham staying in faith for a child despite the deadness of sarah’s barren womb. But I wanna stress something else he said … That is SENDING PRAISE AHEAD…I don’t think I stressed that in yesterday’s blopgost. In that period of waiting- between getting a word/promise and its manifestation, don’t stop praising. The harvest and answer is in your praise.
Verse 20 of romans 4 talks about Abraham giving glory to God while he waited for the promise considering Him faithful who had promised… He was FULLY convinced that the One who promised is faithful.
Now the line that blew me was in 2 chronicles 20
Jehoshaphat was going for a war against a Coalition of about 3nations or so… Yes dude had prayed and Jehovah sent him a word… “The battle is not yours… God will fight for you” and all that…
Oh but follow me to verse 21 where on the day of battle, bro Jeho did a CRAZY thing…
He put the singers in front of the army at the time of war… Seriously!!! Who freaking does that? Lemme drive it home… I love how PK illustrated it… imagine America going to fight Iraq , iran, and France… The rally dey set up- armoured tanks, air planes and shuttles and all that jazz… Bullet proof everything, police dogs!!! The whole nine. And America appears for battle with don moen, donnie ‘my darling’ Mcclurkin, kirk franklin, etc and they start singing ‘these are the days of elijah…there is no God like Jehovah… Etc’ And the singers in holy attire are put ahead of the fighters. Imagine. Aint that cray??? Embarrassing!!! I’m sure the enemies were laughing at such ‘stupidity’. Oh, but when we post praise ahead, to a God who promised and is faithful, the victory is as sure as sure…
See verse 22 where it says that as they praised, the Lord set an ambush and the people that came to fight bro jeho destroyed themselves. Jeho only praised. The army just dey relax behind the praisers. The power of praise. Pk called it MIDDLE PRAISE… That’s what you do in the middle… That is the time while you are waiting for the manifestation it is a sacrifice of praise. It may not be convenient but middle praise oughta be posted ahead, after the promise… Before the result.
You may not always feel like it but you gotta do “middle praise” cos your life and victory depends on it…take you eyes away from the situation. Offer middle praise in faith. Have you seen praise singers before? Especially the highlife or fuji ones. As they sing the praises of ‘bigmen’ at owambes, see how the big men rise from their seats and start spraying the praise singers… If men are this moved by praise, how much more GOd?
Look, when we complain and murmur we praise the devil and the situation. But when we offer middle praise, it turns God on!!!
I’ll end with the very popular habakuk 3vs17… Though the fig tree may not blossom, no fruit on the vine, no money in the account, no children yet, yet I will rejoice and joy in the God of my salvation… He makes my feet as hind feet and sets me upon my high places…
When we praise, when we ‘middle praise’, victory is sure…
This week, be sure to MIDDLE PRAISE. Your victory depends on it.
I receive and release grace for middle praise… Amen…

All through last week, ” middle praise” kept resonating in my spirit man.
I knew I had to re-blog this as my “word for the week’ post…
It was first published on my blog late last year but the message, as is the scriptures, remains timeless.
I’ll also love for you to read this post titled “don’t stop’
