A Special birthday blogpost dedicated to a VERY SPECIAL friend… Chinma Cheech Asogwo…

I have NEVER done this… Dedicate a whole blog post to just one person… Chai… But I had to do this for Chinma… I had thought and thought of what to do for her on her birthday being that we are in different parts of town… I didn’t just wanna do a PM on bbm for her… that space is too limiting and my mouth is too big…So the Holy Spirit just dropped this in my heart. Actually I was about to blog about my birthday with all the pictures from my party… you guys should look out for that one… Tz titled A BIRTHDAY FULL OF SMILES… then I decided, what the heck, why not do a blog post dedicated to just Chinma… That’s very brilliant you would agree… yeah thanks… In fact she and I are having a conversation as I type away… lemme show you a bit

Ok I just dumped her to do this… It is my personal private PUBLIC love letter to Chinma and so I will be speaking in the second person…directly to her

Darling, the fact that I love you, you know… just how much you are getting to know… I am so grateful that we reconnected about two years ago. I remember that I had just concluded my Project management classes and she was asking me something about it cos she wanted to do same… one thing led to another and we somehow started talking about a certain challenge that I was going through… I wasn’t sure why I was talking to you about it being that we were not really close in high school. Oh but you were so super duper sweet. Listening, advising on point, loving… I was tripped… You have no idea… I actually wondered if you were for real. Granted I was not exactly out of my mind depressed but you did plenty to UP my spirit…

Then we started talking… in increasing frequency. Awwww I absolutely loved your commitment to your career. It was easy to tell that you are one young woman going somewhere to happen. So when I see CEO-IN-TRAINING as your bio on twitter or FLYING HIGH as your status on BBM, I can relate…it was no surprise at all when you won STAFF OF THE YEAR at CMB that year… It could not have gone to anyone else… did I mention that she had the best BBM manners… Babes you remember that Voice note I sent you on same abi… 

 
Oh yeah, and when Today’s woman interviewed you as the ‘WOMAN ON THE JOB ‘ for February 2012 edition, I was proud to tell everyone you were my FRIEND… So proud I had to profile you in church so that young persons could be inspired at how far you have gone in such a short time…

  
The sweetest thing you ever said to me was YOUR LIFE IS NOTHING LESS THAN A FAIRY TALE… that makes me smile no matter how down I feel AT ANY TIME… oh there are so many other things you have said to me at different times that are sweet but this takes the cake…
Oh I remember how vulnerable you were once when you were not too sure about something… Hhahahahah now we can laugh about it cos it has all turned out for the BEST and is still turning out… *wink wink much* oh but it was good to see you vulnerable…. You always seemed so strong… :p

Ehen, you also know that you are razz much abi… Oh my gosh… You are just getting razzer and razzer in a very cool way. I recall once yabbing you about how razz you are getting and you said something like… “whatever, but you know that you won’t find better company to the white house abi was it Buckingham palace’ Lolsssss I had to agree… RAZZ WITH GRACE… hiss much

meanwhile you do know that you are a power dresser… thanks for promising me that i can raid your wardrobe when next we see which is real soon….

remember that blue dress we bought together for the office xmas party two years ago… ehen… lolssss… You also know  that you are a   grammer madame… chai Chinma can correct english eh…she will now put one kain annoying smile… No wonder sha… you useed to jack dictionary in feddy days…
I also like that you always have a prayer for me… every time you have a prayer for me, it trips me… please keep it coming ooo… you know I also pray for you too… we both need each other’s prayers especially at vulnerable times so we should keep that up too…
You are one girlfriend that I can be real with… totally. This attribute is lacking in many female friends especially. Oh I can talk to you about ANYTHING and I know you would not judge me and would listen till the very end and pray and advise as need be… I LOVE YOU SOOOOO MUCH FOR THAT
Ehen, have I mentioned how that you are one of the few people I speak Igbo with on BBM… lols… great stuff, mgbe ife kariri oyibo, anyi asuo ya n’igbo… though I still cannot get over that your ‘Onye n’eme obi m uto…’ hehehe don’t worry I won’t be sharing that story lolsssss though I am very very tempted to 😛 You really should bribe me for this… You are also one of the two girls that call me BABY… chai I absolutely hate people calling me baby but I love it with you… feel free to continue :*
I have so many things to wish you but I wish above all things that YOU LIVE IN YOUR BEAUTIFUL DREAMS THAT ALIGN WITH GOD’S PLAN AND PURPOSE FOR YOUR LIFE…
And for good measure, may I add that you will always have helpers of destiny that would help you fulfill destiny around you… you have such a beautiful heart and you my darling deserve all the beautiful things and people that come your way…
And my knees would hit the ground specially for you today…

I love you baby… I love you boooooooo… I love you sweetheart… I love you darling… and in increasing daily doses… It feels infinitely good to know that I have a friend who is always a click or a phone call away…a thousand kisses won’t even do but I am sending them anyways… you have a berry blast day full of sunshine and love… Once again I LOVE YOU MY DEAREST FRIEND…
