Bringing the Fire to your Bible study (My personal tips for bible study and spiritual life review)

Do you love to study your Bible? Or do you find it boring? In my walk with Jesus, I’ve seen my passion and love for Bible study increase. I have a real desire to study the WORD, and even though I have shared some Bible study tips on this blog previously, I have something fresh and new in this blog, so keep on reading.

Hello Blog Fam,

Earlier this week, I took some time to radically and indepthly review the first half of the year. I typically review my life under a few categories, including but not limited to my…

Spiritual life

Health and Fitness

Friendships and Sisterships

Personal and Mental Development/Investments

Finances

And more

This blog will focus on my spiritual life.

Under my spiritual life, I have a few sub-groups too, if I may call them that

– Bible study

– Journalling

– Retreats

– Fasting

– Prayer

– Confessions

– Service in Church (Daystar)

For the purpose of this blog, we will be focusing on just one:

Bible study

One of the things that continue to help my Bible study is (that) I have very many Bibles and Bible resources.

As a student, at the beginning of the session, I would go to Tejuosho market, where we have many book shops, and even though the Department had a few recommendations for books, I would charter more books, typically second hand imported ones, and would go back to school with them.

Whatever the Lecturers taught, I would go deeper with those textbooks, plus go online and browse too, and then I would present those answers in exams.

Guess who made a First Class?

And who was also Best Graduating Student?

No prizes for guessing hehe.

This is the same approach I bring to my spiritual life.

I do have a lot of Bible and I consider myself a Mixologist when it comes to scriptures

Who has bloodshot eyes? It is one who spends long hours in the taverns, trying out new drinks.

Proverbs 23: 29-30 (NLT)

And I am always looking to buy more. I don’t think I ever walk out of Laterna without a new Bible. While I love and I am so thankful for YouVersion, I still prefer to study using my hard-copy Bibles.

In fact, I did a YouTube video on how to be a Mixologist and learn from a Drunkard here…

Better Bible Study? Learn from a Drunkard

It’s soooo good, here is what Favor had to say about it…

Wao my Coach, this is amazing. I am getting drunk with my Bible study. Your YouTube videos are amazing. God bless you ma. I am going to read Song of Solomon with the Passion Bible to get drunk in Abba’s love.

So check it out and if you have Sisters and Friends that need this, of course share with them.

I also have a few more Bible and Bibles study blogs which I am happy to link below
